Hi we are Jo & Patrick

Your Elopement Photographer in Cornwall. We are well travelled free-spirited sorts that have come from far away lands across the ocean. After a random meeting on a Cornish cliff, we have ended up living together at the bottom of England in a cute little harbour village called Porthleven. We are incredibly inspired by nature and spend as much time as we can in the great and not so great outdoors. We spend most days sea swimming, chasing sunsets, sunrises, stars and storms together, with the crazy child Keynvor in tow who is a bundle of never ending energy. We hope our new journey helps inspire like-minded couples that would like to throw away traditions and elope to Cornwall with us.

Our Experience

01.

We have been fortunate enough to travel all over the world capturing elopements, from under waterfalls in Iceland to old castle ruins on the Isle of Skye- but our favourite location has got to be right here in Cornwall. Over 300 elopements later and a ton of experience we know how to handle every situation and photograph even the most camera shy couples to get the best images from the day in the most relaxed way that you won't even realise we are photographing you.

Our Approach

02.

The majority of the couples we photograph hate having their picture taken, which is why many couples tend to elope in the first place as they don't like a big fuss. We have a very laid back approach and live for natural and candid moments. We love laughter, smiles, tears and real emotions, rather than stiff formal poses and staged photography. I hope by looking through our portfolio you can see this come across in our work. We try and capture each couples personality, documenting your day in the most authentic way.

Silent & Discret

03.

We work well in a team, we are able to shoot easily with 4 cameras, 4 different camera focal lengths and from 2 different angles, without missing a single moment or emotion, capturing photography and video easily and effortlessly. Also our cameras are 100% SILENT, you will never hear the camera click once, making it perfectly discreet during an intimate elopement. You are essentially getting 2 photographers for the price of 1 and also have the added bonus and security that if for any reason one of us was sick you would still have one of us to cover your day.

What is our favourite outdoor ceremony location?

We prefer definitely beaches, se caves and cliffs. Cornwall has endless elopement photo opportunities.

How Many Hours Should You Hire For?

Generally we say the best coverage is between 2.5-4 hours. For outdoor Elopements we suggest 2-3 hours. This is enough to include your ceremony and your couple shoot. If you decide to use an Wedding & Elopement Venue or are having any guests then we suggest 4 hours is best.

I don’t even know where to start, I could not be more thrilled that we had Jo along on this ride to capture our elopement journey. As soon as I saw her portfolio I knew we had to work with Jo and I was in touch before booking our date to make sure she would be available. We loved her pictures but we knew we’d found the right person to bring with us for the day as soon as we started corresponding. When you’re choosing such an intimate and private way to get married it’s so important that the people who are around you bring the right vibe and energy. Jo brought such a sense of fun and adventure and the whole experience was such a blast! It was much more like spending an afternoon with a friend. We felt so laid back and comfortable in her presence and it really comes through in the relaxed and natural shots that she managed to capture. Our photos are absolutely stunning! I just cannot stop staring at them; they are truly enchanted and I can’t believe that’s us looking so otherworldly and like we’re caught up in a rugged wild fairytale. Thank you so so much Jo we will truly treasure the photographs and memories of creating them for a lifetime! Felicity & Dazz
